Wednesdays Are Family Night at HBBC

FAMILY NIGHT DINNERS NEED YOU

We are starting to line up cashiers for Wednesday night dinners for this coming year. Cashiers are asked to serve 1-2 times a month for a thirty-minute shift. That’s an hour or less a month! Would you consider being a part of this team? Volunteers are needed from 5:00-5:30 PM or from 5:30-6:00 PM. Refill your plate and your spirit as we resume Family Night and the wonderful tradition of fellowship around the table.

About our reservation system:

Make your reservation starting Thursday the week prior by clicking RESERVE MY MEAL or call Cathy Eller at (919) 833-4617.
Reservations close the Monday prior at 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM by phone at (919) 833-4617 for the upcoming Wednesday.
The cost is $8 (adults), $5 (children ages 12 and under), and two and under are free, with a $25 family maximum cost.
When you arrive, stop by the cashier’s station to pay. Credit cards, checks, and cash are accepted. Then proceed into Hailey Hall.

During The Gathering, adults gather around tables for a time of prayer, study, and singing. Often, there is table discussion during this time.

CIRCLE OF SECURITY

HYBRID | Wednesdays at 6:05 PM in Room 200

At times all parents feel lost or without a clue about what their child might need from us. Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was asking from you. The Circle of Security Parenting™ program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened. Caroline Landen will lead the sessions. This is an excellent opportunity for parents to gain confidence, encouragement, and support as they do the hard and holy work of raising children. CHILDREN’S MISSIONS AND MUSIC

IN-PERSON | Wednesdays at 6:00 PM in Room 11

Through our mission classes, two-year-olds through fifth-graders learn about God’s love and how to share that love within their family, church, community, and the world at large. Our two-year-olds participate in Mission Friends throughout the school year. Children ages three and older rotate through missions and music. CHILDREN’S CHOIR

Music plays an important role in the worship of God and the lives of each of us. So we begin with celebrating the joy of singing and the joy of singing about our God with our three, four, and five-year-old children. YOUTH WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

IN-PERSON | Wednesdays at 6:00 PM in the Youth Lounge (FLC-200)

Youth are invited to our midweek gathering to experience the presence of Christ in new and creative ways. We engage in various spiritual formation disciplines, both new and ancient so that we can listen for the voice of God through the noise of our busy lives. FAMILY GYM TIME

Come enjoy a time of free play in the gym before “The Gathering” on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:00 PM. This is a time for parents and their children to have some fun and fellowship with other church members. All kinds of games are available for the kids to play.
