ESTHER CHILDREN’S MUSICAL

Join us for a night of musical theater as our grade school children bring the story of Esther to life! Our children have been working hard all spring, and we hope you will make plans to come and support them. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome!
FESTIVAL DAY
HYBRID | Sunday, May 19 at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary
Make plans to join us on Festival Sunday as our Festival Choir and orchestra lead us in worship. This service of praise will feature three sections based on the hymn, Come Thou Fount. We will also be dedicating a commissioned piece by Pepper Choplin based on the beloved hymn, O God Our Help in Ages Past. Following the service there will be a reception honoring Larry and Gail Dickens as we celebrate with them in their retirement.
LARRY AND GAIL’S RETIREMENT

Help us celebrate the retirement of Larry and Gail Dickens. We hope you can help us celebrate by sharing a word of encouragement, thanksgiving, or a simple story on the cards found around the church. You can also go online to share your story or gratitude at hbbc.org by clicking the Retirement button. These cards will be given to Larry and Gail on May 19. Following the worship service, we will gather in the Family Life Center for a time of celebration giving you time to say a word of congratulations in person. Cards are requested back to the church office or Kristen Muse by Wednesday, May 15. We would also like to receive any pictures you have of Larry and Gail’s ministry. Email these to kmuse@hbbc.org by Wednesday, May 8.
BE A PRAYER PARTNER
You are invited to commit to be a prayer partner for one of our youth during their summer mission trip to the Bahamas. As their prayer partners, we ask that you pray for them leading up to the trip and each day they are away. Prayer partner cards will be available in the Welcome Center from Sunday, April 21-Sunday, May 5. Please choose a card and use the book provided to fill in your information. Thank you for supporting and praying for our young people!
MONDAY NIGHT PRAYER MEETING

Join members of the Koinonia Sunday School class and others to pray virtually each Monday night. This is simply a time to pray for others and the world. Church issues and politics are not discussed; instead, the time is devoted to prayer.
