FESTIVAL DAY

HYBRID | Sunday, May 19 at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary

Make plans to join us on Festival Sunday as our Festival Choir and orchestra lead us in worship. This service of praise will feature three sections based on the hymn, Come Thou Fount. We will also be dedicating a commissioned piece by Pepper Choplin based on the beloved hymn, O God Our Help in Ages Past. Following the service there will be a reception honoring Larry and Gail Dickens as we celebrate with them in their retirement. 

THE GIFT OF SABBATH

Sunday, May 26-Saturday, June 1 

HBBC will enter into Sabbath rest on the afternoon of Sunday, May 26, and will leave our Sabbath rest on Saturday, June 1. This will mean that we will suspend

all committee meetings and regular programs outside of Sunday morning. We will take this time to renew our spirits, get out into the world with loved ones, and just be instead of doing. We will be posting on social media each day and encourage you to respond to the question that is posed. We will also send a daily email with a word to reflect on each day as well as some thoughts and practices to consider. You can be added to the email list here by clicking on the Sabbath Week listing. Remember, the Sabbath will look different for each of us, but we can each accept this gift that God has given us time and time again.

SINGLES FELLOWSHIP FOR ADULTS

IN-PERSON | Sunday, May 26 at 12:00 PM in Hailey Hall

All adult singles are invited to join us for the monthly Singles Gathering following the worship service. Singles from all walks of life (widowed, divorced, or never been married) are encouraged to be a part. Lunch will be provided for $8 per person. MONDAY NIGHT PRAYER MEETING

VIRTUAL | Mondays at 7:00 PM

Join members of the Koinonia Sunday School class and others to pray virtually each Monday night. This is simply a time to pray for others and the world. Church issues and politics are not discussed; instead, the time is devoted to prayer.
