VIRTUAL EXERCISE CLASS

David Keel and Jenny McClendon are continuing to send out at home workouts through email twice a week. If you haven’t signed up yet and want to, please send David an email at dkeel@hbbc.org. There are a variety of workouts sent out each week including some for your whole family, seniors, and everything in between.

July 24 – Today’s workout is a relaxing stretching routine with Jenny. It’s easy to forget that stretching should be an important part of any exercise routine to help prevent injury and increase range of motion. Hope you enjoy!

July 21 – Today’s workout is called the Time Bomb Pyramid. It’s a different type of workout where each exercise is done for a different amount of time. The workout is set up in four sets and each set lasts about six minutes. It’s a great full-body workout with a little mix of cardio. Enjoy!

July 17 – Today’s workout is from Jenny McClendon. It’s an easy to follow 18-minute video on strengthening exercises that can be done with a chair for Seniors and beginners. Enjoy!

July 14 – Today’s workout focuses on the shoulders. If you’re like me, you’ve dealt with a shoulder injury, or you have discomfort in the shoulder. These exercises can help strengthen around the joint to help alleviate any uncomfort you may be having. Just make sure to start with a very lightweight if you are a beginner. Also, if any of the exercises cause you any pain, do not continue it. Try the next one!

July 6 – Enjoy today’s workout from Jenny! It’s a fun low impact aerobic workout that’ll get your blood pumping!

THIS WEEK AT HBBC

This week during our live broadcast we’ll be continuing our segment, “This Week at HBBC.” We want to share what is going on in our lives and help our members feel connected to one another when we’re not together. If you are willing to have them shared, please send us your photos from the week. Whatever you are doing – taking a walk, making dinner together, snuggling babies, or attempting to work while your kids are going crazy – we want to see it all! Submit your photos to thisweek@hbbc.org.

July 3 – What blessings are you seeing in the midst of exile? – Click here for the video.
