About the trip: YouthCue 2020 will be equal parts youth choir festival and faith formations trip. The YouthCUE Choir Festival in Washington, D.C. provides us with such an opportunity. Not only will our Youth Choir perform in singular locations such as the National Cathedral, we will also share important cultural experiences that offer the chance to dialogue about crucial issues facing our nation today. For example, the youth will have the chance to visit the Baptist Joint Committee and learn about their work to protect religious freedom for all Americans. Our hope is that our students will open their minds and hearts to their neighbors through worship and thoughtful conversation during our time in our nation’s capital.
