Our 2018-2019 schedule is jam-packed with exciting opportunities to gather, give, serve and grow! All activities are open to adult ages 55 & up. Some are geared towards ages 55-70 and others are more broadly planned. Find these that interest you or meet your needs and join us!

We will meet from 12:00-1:00 the fourth Tuesday of each month in the Fellowship Hall unless otherwise noted. Please contact the church office the week prior to each meeting to make a reservation. Lunch will cost $6 per person.

November 5 – Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral Tour with Lunch at NC State Centennial Club
Tour the magnificent worship space of the Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in downtown Raleigh. Afterward, the group will have lunch on the NCSU Centennial Campus.
January 24 – “A Second Helping: Church Basement Ladies Sequel” at Temple Theater
The church basement kitchen throughout much of America is often the heart and soul of any church. From the elderly matriarch to the young mom-to-be, these women find strength in each other as they deal with the joys and upheavals from below the House of God!
We will meet at the church at 10:15 AM, stop for lunch and enjoy the matinee show. Tickets are $20 per person. RSVP by Monday, January 7.
Spring 2019 – The Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park
This one-of-a-kind art park in the heart of Historic Downtown Wilson, NC provides fascinating artistic, educational, and recreational opportunities at the intersection of art and science.
December 11-13 – Williamsburg Trip
This trip includes two nights of lodging at the Colonial Williamsburg Hotel, motor coach transportation, two buffet breakfasts, one lunch and one dinner, luggage handling, a guided tour and tickets to Colonial Williamsburg. May 27-31 – Summerfest At Fort Caswell
Summerfest retreat for retired and semi-retired adults consists of five days & four nights of great fellowship, morning classes, worship, and activities designed to entertain and uplift. Fort Caswell is located on the eastern end of Oak Island, NC.

Experience the art of leisure as you explore the timeless Village of Pinehurst, with its sandy paths, historic homes, and charming shops. While away the day at the spa, take a croquet lesson and, of course, play a round of legendary golf.
SENIOR GAME DAY – Come to play bingo, dominoes, cards, board games and more the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month in the Family Life Center at 10:00 AM.
FIT OVER FIFTY – Fit Over Fifty meets in the FLC Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00-10:00 AM. Try your first class for FREE! This class is led by Jenny McClendon and it is a combination of low-impact aerobics, light interval training, line dancing, yoga, and seated strengthening. This class is designed to help seniors with increasing endurance, building strength, helping to slow the process of arthritis and osteoporosis, and enhancing posture, flexibility, and balance.
